I Use My iPhone To Shoot Music Videos – Wanlov Kuborlor
Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu, known by his stage name Wanlov Da Kuborlor is a Ghanaian-Romanian musician, film director and cultural icon born to an Akan father and a Romanian mother.

Kuborlor has for some time now directed and shot a lot of music videos for artiste with his personal iPhone and has got the public talking about its quality. Some of the music videos he’s shot include Sister Debbie’s Ghana Jollof, Sampanana among others.
Speaking exclusively with Spyderlee Entertainment TV at Medikal’s ‘Disturbation’ album signing last Saturday, Kubolror made it known to Nealyon that he has personally fallen in love with shooting with his Iphone because the pictures are high definition and easier to carry along.
He further stated that it’s cheaper for artistes who don’t have enough money to shoot their videos in terms of hiring cameras, lights, sound etc.
‘Since I started shooting videos, I’ve been using whatever I had at my disposal. Because Iphones have good cameras now, it just makes sense to me; especially because I do videos for artistes who don’t have padded budgets so I have to do something creative and cost effective for them,’ he said.

Sneaks, a Ghanaian clothing line, on Monday 3rd July,2017 unveiled Barnabas Amu, popularly known as Keeny Ice as its brand ambassador.

The one year ambassadorial contract was announced
yesterday in the Volta regional capital, Ho where the CEO of Sneaks, Mr. Evans Kwesi Agyei explained that they decided to work with Keeny Ice because of his growing influence on the youth who are also their target market.
He also added that the ‘Gankivi’ crooner is a unique brand and the clothing his happy to partner his for this project.
Keeny Ice within the tenure as an Ambassador is expected to use his influence strategically to grab market for the product.
The signing was witnessed by the team from Sneaks, media partners and Keeny’s team led by his brand manager, Jonilar.
Keeny Ice is signed on to Mo’shes Musik, released his debut, ‘Move’ featuring Kofi Kinaata this year and weeks ago released the much talked about Hip-hop jam, ‘Gankivi’ produced by Two Bars and mastered by Seshi.

Today, July 6, 2017 is exactly 3years years since Ghanaians were greeted with the heartrending news that hip-life musician Castro and a lady friend, Janet Bandu, had both gone missing while cruising on a jet-ski on the Volta Lake at Ada.

Castro had accompanied his friend, Black Stars captain Asamoah Cyan to Ada for holidays when he went missing in the river.
A combined search team comprising the Ghana Navy, Marine Police, local fisher- folks and professional lifeguards could not find his body.
Although he is not back, Ghanaian Celebrities seems to forget about him soo soon. In a recent facebook post by his publicist on his facebook page, Ghpromoter Prince said
“Today, July 6, 2017 is exactly 3 years since our brother Castro Undafyre gone missing while cruising on a jet-ski on the Volta Lake at Ada! It rather unfortunate we forgot him so soon ! Castro was one of a kind, he took time to write hit songs for some of you musicians ! I am the Dancehall Queen – Renner
Fast rising Reggae/Dancehall artiste Mercy Renner better known as Renner, has referred to herself as the dancehall Queen.
The Central music Awards best female vocalist of the year Renner in a rendition of Shatta Wale’s Ayoo referred to herself as the dancehall queen. In the original song Shatta Wale said Dancehall King but in the reggae rendition Renner changed King with Queen.

The rendition which has even been endorsed and posted by Shatta Wale further buttresses her stand as the Dancehall Queen.
If that is not proof enough, Renner matched her male dancehall counterparts boot to boot on Edem’s new tune Roll.
Renner has in a short pace established herself not only as a great vocalist but also a true performer. In as much as the lyrics in her song might be a harmless statement, her works are gradually pushing her to the level of a true dancehall Queen.
