BIG SLIM, Event Curator for “Ibiza In Ghana” has announced Stonebwoy as a Special Guest artiste for its maiden Edition.

Set for Saturday, January 1, 2023, the event will take place at The Savannah enclave in Cantonments.

Being its first kind in Ghana, the event sets the tone for an annual affair afterwards.

Stonebwoy was officially unveiled as Special Guest for the event which starts at 3:00pm exactly on the day. Not only will this be a music oriented event but has a big Fashion Show, Pool Party and an array of various cuisines as a total package.

Highly talented vocalist Linchpin has announced her return to the music scene after a long hiatus as she prepares to relaunch her career with a new song.

The “Odo” maker, regarded as one of the most talented acts within the space for her versatility, took to her Twitter to drop hints of a comeback this year.

New project “Fukor Fukor” comes in a more relatable style with a swag music taste as the artwork drops a couple of days ago.

At’son, real name Gabriel Awinimi Azumah is an up coming Ghanaian/ Nigerian Afro-Fusion artist from the Upper East region, Ghana, born in Nigeria because his parents lived & worked there at the time of his birth. However he went to basic & high school as well as college all here in Ghana, He first came into the music scene in 2016 after featuring on a record titled “In The Moment ” which received massive airplay in Africa and earned him his very first AFRIMA (All Africa Music Awards) nomination in Lagos Nigeria that same year.

Currently signed to Raz Records, this is his first single he is releasing under the new label. “Abena” is an afrobeat fused with highlife record and the Nigerian heritage can be heard much on this record.

Prince of African light entertainment Trevor Gumbi will perform in Ghana for the first time when OB Amponsah’s ‘Ghanaian by Card’ standup comedy special debuts on December 9, 2022 at the National Theatre, Accra.

The iconic South African comedian, writer and actor has built a reputation as one of the funniest men south of the continent. He is best known as the cost-host for Headline, the popular Mzansi Magic Entertainment Magazine show. And now the experienced entertainer brings all of his witty jest to the most anticipated comedy event In Ghana.

Ghanaian by Card is set to be another benchmark standup event from Ghana’s premier comedian, OB Amponsah, whose ‘Popular but Broke’ masterpiece went on to break all manner of records last year. It promises to be another beautiful night of laughter and entertainment when Ghana’s most sought-after comic returns to the same venue where he established himself as one of Africa’s Top 10 new school comedians.

Field Marshall shares smutty Official Video for “Stamina”, urges African men to ‘go natural’ on ladies!

For Field Marshall, creating music goes beyond just putting lyrics together or just rhyming on any beat. He puts in the works every time and it’s evident in all of his song releases from past years to present.

“Stamina” his last released song just got served with audience thee most appropriate and hottest video stemming from Ghana.

Serving very raunchy lyrics but yet playing his maturity game with his diction through puns and similes, Field Marshall defines himself in this video is a Ladies’ Man with a lot of stamina.

Purpose of the song is to encourage (more, African) men to engage organic ways of preserving stamina to make love to their women. In recent times, there has been quite a high number of conventional aphrodisiacs on the market, many of which Field Marshall thinks have a bad side effect in later life or after long use.

“Stamina” video defines that as well as sell the beauty of African women ’indoors’. He also subtly touches on the topic of polygamy or Gallis life — a man openly declaring affection for more than one lady and staying responsible with them — a thing he says is the embed of African heritage.

intimate concert held on Friday, November 25, 2022.

“Fire”, her latest single which features South African Heavyweight, Busiswa, had a first time
performance before audience at the plush restaurant located at Airport Residential Area, same
premises as Silver Fox Ghana.

The night saw Ijekimora serenading audience to not just her latest single “Fire” but as well as her
previously released songs “Sexy Papa”, Temptation” and “Stand By Me” (which featured Seyi Vibez).
The night was also used to highlight her upcoming EP titled “Kimorality”.

The gig was steered by her Management as part of plans to fully activate her here in Ghana and the
West African Region. Ijekimora is a Nigerian by birth but stayed in Dallas, USA, for a long time before
relocating to Nigeria to pursue her music career. The Singer who has a soft spot for Ghana says she

As a sign of great patriotism, Ghanaian musician Knii Lante has released ‘Another Goal’, a song in support of the Black Stars to urge them on after each goal scored. Ghanaian Afro-Fusion artist, Gyakie has been announced as a member of the YouTube Black Voices Class of 2023. This was revealed in a post by YouTube Music on social media:

This is an incredible feat as she is the only Ghanaian female artist in addition to Ghanaian producer, Juls, to be named amongst a myriad of Black Creators from all parts of the world.

As a member of the BVF Class of 2023, Gyakie as well as over 30 named Black creators including Nigeria’s BNXN, Asake, America’s production duo, Take A Daytrip and South Africa’s MashBeatz will be equipped with the right resources and support to help amplify their voices in a way like no other. The creatives will receive dedicated partner support and the opportunity to participate in several training workshops and networking programs as well as funding that will be invested in the development of their channels.

As one of Ghana’s current rising star, Gyakie has proven time and time again that hard work, talent and great management does indeed pay off. She’s definitely a beacon, earmarking her growth and progress with several major successes. After the release of her sophomore project, the “My Diary” EP, Gyakie has added up to her many achievements, showing no sign of stopping soon.

The Flip The Music signed artist has just this year alone been featured on Apple Music‘s Home Session. She also gave a stellar performance as the only female Ghanaian artiste to perform at the Global Citizen Festival held in Accra, Ghana and was also the only Ghanaian artist to perform at South Africa’s Homecoming Festival. She joined Stonebwoy as the chosen two Ghanaian artistes for Afrochella’s Pop-Up event in South Africa and was recently named Africa’s Next on the global music streaming platform, Pandora.

Nigerian Afrobeats Artiste, Ijekimora, shares her latest single “Fire” with her Ghana fanbase. She featured South African Music Icon, Busiswa, on it. An official video was shot for it too along with the official release of the song.

About Creating The Song “Fire”
“We came up with the title ‘Fire’ because of the way Busiswa came wild and unapologetic on the beat and it was so steamy we had to name it ‘Fire’, and the chorus had that melody in it too; the song already defined itself and you get to feel the energy and power behind it when you’re listening to it.” – Ijekimora

“The concept of the song is just 2 girls taking over, literally, empowering ourselves as 2 fierce women in the music industry living the best of our lives and making money as well,” Ijekimora added. The song is Amapiano inspired.

Why Busiswa for a feature?
Ijekimora was looking forward to breaking into the South African market, thus, needed an artiste she could work with; coincidentally Busiswa came through as the one. Busiswa had a show in Lagos and Ijekimora’s Team connected with her; and everything took off from there. “It wasn’t stressful at all getting her to jump on my song”, she says.

Ijekimora is still experimenting sounds to put together her debut EP she announced as “Kimorality”. She promises her fans to expect the EP to be out some time in 2023 though there were delays. She is a perfectionist and makes sure she gets her things right hence the little delay but off the cuff she has alreay released fire singles “Sexy Papa”, “Temptation” and a previous sensation “Stand By Me” featuring Seyi Vibez.

Ijekimora, grew up in Dallas but hails from Nigeria. She often shuffles between Nigeria and Ghana; she says Ghana is like a second home to her so she frequents Ghana grounds to do her promotions each time she drops a new song.

Busiswa Gqulu, known mononymously as Busiswa or Busi, is a South African singer-songwriter and poet. Born in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, South Africa, she gained public recognition for her feature on DJ Zinhle’s song, “My Name Is”, after being discovered by Kalawa Jazmee’s CEO Oskido. She is a vibrant artiste known across Africa and beyond and has rocked many stages locally and internationally.
