On a birthday, we usually expect gifts from our friends, family relatives and well wishers but Sarkodie will be doing the opposite rather on the 10th of July. He will be releasing the “Mewu” which is his first single of his upcoming album “Mary”. He features Akwaboah on this one.
The New Guy hitmaker is taking a different twist to his usual music as he mentioned that this album will show his versatility as the album will contain live instrumentals. A rapper delivering his flows on live instruments? Well that would sound surprising but we as all waiting in anticipation to see how this one will go.
He has been nominated for the Best African Act International Category in the upcoming BET Awards and we wish him well in that. Take note of the date, 10th July it is.
