American singer Beyonce is preparing to release a music film, Black Is King, that will include music videos from her The Lion King: Gift album which Shatta Wale is part.
Amongst the music videos include the video for the bopping song Already which featured maverick Shatta Wale. Shatta Wale earlier confirmed he has already shot the music video for the song somewhere in the US in 2019.
Black Is King is out on Saturday, 1 August at 7pm on MNet for Africa.
Directors are Emmanuel Adjei , Blitz (the film The Burial of Kojo) and long-time collaborator of Beyoncé, Kwasi Fordjour of Parkwood Entertainment.
The MultiChoice Group will open M-Net to DStv Compact Plus, Compact and Family for two hours on the night . DStv Premium customers will be able to enjoy it on DStv Catch Up for 30 days.
Black Is King will include full-length videos for songs: “Already,” “Brown Skin Girl,” “Mood 4 Eva” and “My Power.”
Other artists featured on The Lion King: The Gift album will also make appearances on Black Is King.
