Growing up influenced by varying genres ranging from Reggae, Highlife, and Hiplife to latter years influencing him through Afrobeats, Fusion and Dancehall, the young singer is on a path of self-exploration through his music. SovT’s music reimagines the familiar sounds of his childhood with the new exciting genres and sounds that are taking over the listener-scape in West Africa.
The Zodivc produced song takes the tone and messaging of a gospel song complete with its somber delivery and piano keys, luring you into a meditative soundscape. However, the lyrics and the rhythm have the identity similar to the hustle music taking over this side of the Motherland in Afrobeats and ASAKAA.
