Female songstress and vocal bird NanaYaa know in real life as Nathalie Mensah has officially released the visuals to her 2018 banger “Woman Power”.
Rex directed the video for Woman Power.
“Woman Power” visual portrays every powerful sense of a woman. In the video, very muscular men treat NanaYaa who is representing all women as a queen.
In talking about the video, NanaYaa noted that she really enjoyed shooting this video, the scenes where so different.
According to her the team and herself chose an artistic expression of a Woman’s Power.
“I hope women and the general public appreciates how we celebrated women in this new video” – She mentioned.
NanaYaa also lamented that the video had to come out right that is what caused the delay, so to all the fans that kept asking for the visuals, sorry for the delay but it is here now.

A.I's 'HeadStrong EP' Is Out!
Ghanaian Award winning Artist, A.I., along with his label, 2ligit Records, released his debut 9 track EP titled “Headstrong” today. Speaking about his latest release, A.I. described the music in the EP as “feel good music”, adding that it’s the type of music that will keep one going even when circumstances may be weighing you down. The chart topping artist also said the fact that the EP has no other artist feature is not on purpose. He stated that the tracks selected for the theme of the EP just happened to be tracks he recorded alone. However, he states that he has a lot of unreleased songs with other artists which will be out soon.
A.I. released his Mixtape Mayhem back in 2013, and since then the artist has released several singles, with arguably the most popular one being “Grind”, a song that topped the charts in Ghana, and the West African sub-region.
The Headstrong EP is now available on all online music stores and music streaming platforms; including Africa’s new music hub aftown.com.
Commenting on his upcoming activities, A.I. said he will be concentrating on putting out videos for the songs on the EP as well as going on tour to promote the EP. He said there’s already one video in the post-production phase, and said that fans should expect the “hot” video soon.

Akan juices up the success of his debut album Onipa Akoma, with a new video for Me Sika Aduro coupling as the second installment of videos for the much talked about album.
Me Sika Aduro which has quickly emerged as one of the favorites on the album, has gradually become the go tool for a day start due to its words of drive towards making some fortune as life goes by.
The video is powerful, whilst the lyrics may ignite a rush for doing all it takes to get money, the images will enlighten you on the consequence underlying the position of having money.
The video builds on a transition of seeking money, the beauty and power it comes with, the danger of being mislead and a dooming pathway that is promsed with it.
In the video the rapper is pictured under a ritual for financial freedom, to driping in lust and luxury. The video then cuts to a skit on Abusua Tintin on the album which emphasizes on the misconception about money that runs through society and the danger of getting misled and consumed in it. It then reveals the rapper dazzling in his vice and demons which eventually leads to his doom.
The video directed by Yaw Skyface is a big one for Akan and its set to get the numbers counting up again for Onipa Akoma.

Kwame Partan Cuts Dreadlocks To Rebrand For New Project
Kwame Partan, one of the seasoned conscious Ghanaian Reggae Singers has cut his dreadlocks as part of a new spiritual rebrand for upcoming projects.
Kwame Partan in a recent interview with award-winning Ghanaian Blogger, Elorm Beenie, has refused to explain his reasons for cutting his dreadlocks but insists “it was needed at this point of his career. At every point in life one needs to make changes and once you make that spiritual decision, you have to walk along that path.”
With 2 albums under his belt, Kwame Partan is highly revered within the Reggae sect as one of the best Songwriters and finest live band performers anytime he climbs the stage.
He hints of a new video due for release this week on TV and for his Official Youtube Channel.
Brief Music Journey
Kwame Partan launched himself unto the music scene professionally in 1999. He started out as a Hiplife artiste rocking various and doing collaborations with the ilks of Becca among others.
He released his debut album “Busa Me”, a Hiplife catalogue in 2003 under Astra Records. Not too long ago after releaseing that debut album, Kwame Partan had the calling to switch to Reggae music and his style of genre changed.
Kwame Partan, born under real name “Aaron Ayeh”, has played major concerts in Ghana; notable among them are “Sizzla Live in Ghana” Concert in 2007, “Anthony B & Jah Mason Live in Ghana” Concert in 2012, just to name a few. He has graced other respectable stages in Ghana by fellow artistes. He has also climbed some stages in Germany.
His 11-tracked album titled “Me Busa” was officially released on Friday, August 5, 2016 in Accra, Ghana as his sophomore album. This second album was released under his own Management, Loud People Production. It came with an album launch concert in Accra and featured well respected Ghanaian Reggae Artistes like Iwan, Ras Kuuku, Osagyefo, Konkarah, just to name a few. About 95% of the songs on the “Me Busa” album was Reggae; it had majority of the productions by Crownzy Beatz.
Kwame Partan is known as a conscious revolutionist through the power of music and well-decorated lyrics, deep enough that relates well with real life experiences. He is best known for his hit singles “Papa Koti” and “Onipa” – both songs listed on his “Me Busa” album.
His song “Ghanaian Passport” on the Irie Bus Riddim album by Irie Ites Studios, produced by CaskeysOnit is one of the songs he is known for; a powerful song that critiques the hurdles Ghanaians face in acquiring their passports.

Maccasio Announces New Accra Concert “Total Shutdown”
Ghanaian rap performer Sherif Abdul Majeed, known in the showbiz arena as Maccasio, is set to shut down Accra once again with a new concert, dubbed “Total Shutdown”.
The “Dagomba Girl” hitmaker who stormed Accra in 2017 with “Northern Explosion” concert, is set to make another history this year at the Bukom Arena in Accra.
The concert scheduled for Sunday, October 28, will see the “Breakout Artiste of the Year” winner at the 2017 3Music Awards rock the stage with some top artistes from both northern and southern Ghana.

Last year, Maccasio billed some top artistes including Iwan, Guru, Fareed, Kofi Kinaata, Rudeboy Ranking, Dr Cryme, Sherrifa Gunu and AJ Nelson for his “Northern Explosion” concert.
And this year, his management says the lineup artistes will be spiced up and would be bigger than ever.
“This concert is dedicated to all my fans and every music lover across the country. I’m not targeting a certain section of Ghanaian music lovers – it’s for all,” Maccasio said in a press statement.
He added: “Come October 28, you will appreciate the true talent I possess. Expect pure entertainment and varieties of classic Ghanaian music.”
According to his management, ZOLA Music, the official line up artistes for this year’s concert will soon be released.
