Lady Prempeh the ‘Odo yi wohe’ hit maker who has been out of the music seem for some time now, has given an exclusive interview revealing, how hypocrisy in the gospel fraternity almost made her regret doing a collaboration with Asem of ‘Give me Blow’ fame. She stated in the interview how she started singing at age 5 in her local Church of Pentecost in Kwadaso Estate, Kumasi where she grew up, and her fondness for Daughters of Glorious Jesus, memorizing and performing their songs in churches and at crusades.
“I Love traditional gospel, but I always wanted to do something different, I wanted to stand out, something that will bring my gospel music to a wider audience.”
The 2005 new gospel artist of the year recounts how fellow gospel artist attacked and ridiculed her when she did collaboration with ASEM of lynx entertainment fame in 2008.

“Asem was very popular then, and I believed doing collaboration with him at that time would bring gospel music to a wider youth audience. The song became very popular, but I had a lot of back lash from people who I thought would support me. Despite that, I carried on promoting and gained more fans”
She continued, “I believe if you have a good heart and mind towards anything you do, you will succeed so I have never been afraid to be a game changer”
“If you are a musician you should be able to do any sort of music, since I took that step many years ago I have noticed that lots of artists both gospel and circular like the missing Castro, Sarkodie, Nacee, Hertty Borngrate, Nero X and others are also doing similar things.”
“I know I wasn’t the first as the old artist use to do songs that covered all subjects. But I faced a lot of pressure and had to overcome a lot at the time I took that step”.
Lady Prempeh is currently in the studio working on some new materials and is hoping to thrill her fans with yet more surprises and new directions for her brand, she urges her fans to follow her on her social media platforms, so they are first to be in the know. We wish her all the best.

Thousands Throng ICGC For Ohemaa Mercy’s 2018 Tehillah Experience

Thousands of people thronged the premises of ICGC to have an encounter with God in worship at the 5th edition Ohemaa Mercy’s Tehilla Experience which happened last Sunday, August 12, 2018.
The night saw personalities like sensational actress Nana Ama McBrrown, multiple award-winning TV host Stacy Amoateng, Ghanaian gospel singer Abena Ruth, Veteran gospel artiste, Mary Ghansah, Ghanaian singer and former president of MUSIGA, Dian Hopson, Ghanaian award-winning gospel artiste, Bernice Ofei, and Music producer and engineer Kaywa.

The night which will leave an indelible memory on the minds of patrons began with praises, geography and also saw some wonderful performances from Ohemaa Mercy, Cece Twum, Moses O.K, Cwesi Oteng, Francis Amo, Elder Mireku, Juanita Bynum, and others.
Paving way for the Maestro Elder Mireku was Cece Twum who charged the atmosphere with breath-taking worship songs.

Each of the artistes billed for the night was given ten minutes to minister to the people, as some were given extra to fill the place with the holy spirit. The seemingly exited patrons couldn’t stop singing along when each singer was called on stage to perform.
Ohema Mercy who was the headline act of the show put a spectacular performance. Dressed in a classy long white dress, the ‘Aseda’ hitmaker started her performance with a low note song. She accompanied her performance with powerful dance moves and carried her fans along throughout her performance.

American singer Juanita Bynum also shined on the night as some fans were anxious to see her outside the auditorium, even though she came later. The crowd was screaming on top of their voices when she started her performance. Dr. Juanita Bynum in a press conference held on Saturday, August 11 ahead of the Tehilla Experience promised to build a head office of her ministry in Ghana and it will be her home of international ministry.
The ‘Tehillah Experience 2018’ was absolutely free for all and Patrons who attended the show heart desires were fulfilled.

Recently it has become normal for female musicians in and outside Ghana to show skin on stage when performing to their audiences
Well, whiles some have condemned this stage craft, Godwynn seems to be in support of it
In his recent interview, Godwynn believes as an artiste, you are only booked for a show when the promoter believes you can entertain patrons at the event so as a musician, you need to do the extraordinary to make people enjoy your performance
According to Godwynn, he is prepared to do much more unthinkable things just to entertain people who come for his shows.
You see there is nothing wrong with ladies showing skin when performing. They are booked to entertain people so if this is part of their way to make us enjoy their stage performance then no one should care because that’s what they are paid to do at that particular time, to entertain

Judging from how rapper Medikal is taking the music circle by storm dropping hit after hit song this year, fans of the AMG business signed artiste know they are in for a jam of their night at this year’s Roll Kall.

This year’s Roll Kall, which is the 8th edition also falls on International Youth Day therefore organizers are using the big event to celebrate all young people in Ghana.

Favella Rebellion , a largely patronized major concert in Haiti is slated for August 11th ,2018 and set to take place at Tara’s (Labourle 12 , Haiti).
The concert is also known to be a night where a selection of Haiti’s finest DJs flaunt their expertise and treat revelers to the best music vibes and thus Magnom and Young Ma will perform alongside a noteworthy lineup of performers including DJ K9, DJ Roby , DJ Bullet , Ted Bounce ,Tony Mix , Franco The Saint and DJ Lord (Magnom’s Official DJ).
