Real name Christelle Akua Sika Amankona, Boss Chic Lousika with an unbeatable talent and sharp increase in creativity with music is set to invade the Ghanaian airwaves during the Christmas season with her new single GET MONEY.

GET MONEY which would be her 8th song after debut single ‘NO BE ALO’ will make all Ghanaians home and abroad proud since it has a touch of mostly rap. There is no doubt about the impact Boss Chic Lousika has had on the Ghanaian music scene this year.

This year Lousika released two debut singles ‘HANDS UP’ featuring Cabum and ‘TAKE OVER’. She further released another song with BET Award winner Sarkodie titled ‘NEED YOUR LOVE’.

With her determination and hard work to be Ghana’s undisputed female Hip Hop rapper, she shot and released a video to her club banger “HANDS UP” which gained enormous recognition and several appearances on top television and radio shows. With her ambition, Lousika is surely touching the Heavens with her talent.

Guru – Clique Foos (Prod by Danny Beatz) (GhanaNdwom.com).mp3

Guru tries to get people talking by dropping what can be classified as something that goes beyond controversial song. Am not sure if the DJ with strictly rules will love playing it the radio but the street for sure will love it. With explicit words such as “Wu Maame ….” in there this track will be the topic to debate on.

Modulo “The Ga Bwoy” – Mission Statement (Official Video)

I have to bring this song back cos it a personal favourite. I draw alot of inspiration from it. I always have to put it on repeat and listen to it over and over again.

Promising Hip Hop artiste, Modulo represent the Ga community to the fullest, bringing undiscovered versionion Ga Hiphop to the limelight. After the storming the chats, streets, and airwaves with ‘Ga Bwoy’ and a couple of tracks, he turn to be the favourite of many who love good music, not just Hiphop.

I recommend this tracks to anyone who loves good music. Great sound quality by the beat “monster”,  Klu. Modulo’s record label,33Degrees will forever be noted for one thing, give value to food music.

Lyrics: Modulo “The Ga Bwoy” – Mission Statement

i can never be,

head down tripple h move pedigree.
i was chosen to re-write history
Forever stay free
maison can’t intimidate me
chasing what forever my dream

feed my soul to a grim than a female

They ask why music i started

my mum is still ill
she can’t walk on her on own feet with no stick without hurting
i want to make her proud so i grind hard
cuz she’s an african woman with a good heart
and right now it’s a good start feed my fam with no juju or black art
It’s all good ….it’s all gravy
i thank God for the fans that rate me

Atsu Koliko – Quater (Feat Nero X) (Prod by Nshoona)

The controversial man behind ‘Political Confession’ is back again. Atsu doesnt seize to amaze his fans with his humour. This time around, the hip life legend chanced upon, Castro,4X4, Obrafour, Kwaw Kesse Sarkodie, D-Black, expressing what he thinks people say about celebrity life and the living your life on the screens and the airwaves. No stone was left unturn in this song, Atsu was bold enough to talk about his good friend Castro’s rumour of suffering from stroke.

The next superstar climbing the steps fame steadily, Nero X voice brought in a soft touch with some singing just for those who mighty have their anger rising after listening.

I had the chance to meet Atsu in the studio to witness the hardwork which went into producing this track, the several stages it has went through just to get a perfect mixing.

You need to hear this.

Miss Ghana, Caranza Naa Okailey Shooter meets Sam Korankye Ankrah

Caranza Naa Okailey Shooter, winner of the 2012 Miss Ghana beauty pageant and member of the Royalhouse Students and Associates (ROSA), a campus fellowship of the Royal House Chapel International church, was given a rousing welcome when she joined other royals in church last week.

Naa, as she is known by her friends in the youth ministry of the church, attended the service with her family to show their appreciation to God for his guidance during the competition, and also to thank the Apostle General, Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah and the church for their support during the pageant.

She recounted how she used the Bible verse Psalm 121: as her words of encouragement throughout the pageant and thus urged the youth to serve God and be focused on whatever they find their hands doing.

“My Prayer was that; God let your purpose for me in this competition be accomplished,” the newly crowned Miss Ghana said when she addressed the congregation.

Welcoming the beauty queen, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, thanked God for her life and requested that she joins the compassion ministry wing of the church that organizes outreach programmes in deprived areas of the country.

In a sermon titled “Holy Spirit: The Living Water”, the Reverend Minister said when Jesus talks about living water; He is not referring to natural water but the outpouring of Holy Spirit in a believer’s life.

“Let us therefore remove all impediments in our lives that hinder the free flow of the living water of the Holy Spirit because there is nothing we can successfully do without the Holy Spirit,” he said.

Season 2 of Fashion 101 to start airing on Africa Magic Entertainment & GHOne

Accra, December 3, 2012 – Season two of hit television series Fashion 101 is set to premiere on Africa Magic Entertainment Channel 151 on DSTV this month.

Set to air at 5:30pm on Friday, December 7, the all new Fashion 101 is tipped to wow viewers across Africa, the show’s producers have promised.

Full of exciting episodes, featuring some of Africa’s most adorable socialites and celebrities, Fashion 101 will take viewers on a roller coaster ride of fashion, glamour, and style.

The show’s producers have also announced that each episode will run for an hour, making way for exciting additions.

“Africa Magic Entertainment is very proud to be airing Fashion 101. This year has been the channel’s first year on the DSTV platform as a dedicated entertainment channel made in Africa, for Africans by Africans, the very first of its kind,” says Anne Sackey, MultiChoice Ghana.

“As such it is no surprise that we chose to air Season II of Fashion 101. In its quest to merge fashion information and entertainment, Fashion 101 helps to define the trendiness of the African superstar, while it informs on how to celebrate home grown talent”.

While maintaining its central theme of fashion, Season II comes with an entirely new twist and add-ons, as host Sandra Ankobiah gets busier, chit-chatting with celebrities, finding out who and what they were to events, their sense of fashion and general issues bordering on their sense of fashion, lives and career.

“Season II of Fashion 101 is not just about who was wearing what to a red carpet event. During Season I and indeed afterwards, I discovered that as Africans, we are embracing fashion more as an expression of how proud we are of our cultural heritage,” Says, Sandra Ankobiah, host and Executive Producer of Fashion 101.

“Nonetheless, we still have a lot to discover about global fashion trends, which can only help us position ourselves in a more competitive manner. That’s why I always have a panel of powerhouses from industries related to Fashion who point out those intricate fashion details we tend to overlook as a people.

“Our celebrities are challenging themselves with trends and styles that make them stand out. This is very normal since majority of them such as actors and musicians are now being recognized even outside the shores of Africa.

“So on my show, they get a chance to describe what makes them comfortable and spill some of their fashion secrets”.

Season II will also see the return of resident panel member Chester Ani, who together with other regular panel members including Aya Morrison and Samdi Owusu, make every episode worth watching.

After the Africa Magic Premiere, Season Two of Fashion 101 would make its local television debut on GHOne on December 16, at 3:30pm, the producers have said.

“GHOne is proud of Sandra Ankobiah’s efforts to bring the African glamour to the fore. We sincerely encourage her as a young African woman, to claim what indeed makes her proud to be African,” says Iyiola Ayoade, CEO of GHOne.

“Fashion is beauty, and glamour but it’s also a revolution. Through Fashion 101, Sandra has proven that she wants to lead that revolution and make a bold African statement”.

Fashion 101 is co-produced for television by Anita Erskine’s Reverbgh & Brand Woman – a TV content development organization and Sandra Ankobiah’s Emerald Paradise Productions.
