Over the last decade, if you’ve been a Klu music consumer, frequenter, following the music he makes, you are aware of an EP series titled “Triple Threat”.

A 3 track production with as yet, 3 prior releases.

These Triple Threat EP’s are released to set the tone and address the current state of things happening with King Klu’s brand mostly building momentum for the release of a bigger project.

The songs on Triple Threat 4 are “Unlock” written and performed by Klu himself, “Over my dead body” also written and performed by him and “Saa” which features fellow Ghanaian artist Akan.

In a nutshell, the afro-fusion tape is a musical journey into the current status of King Klu’s music artistry, it’s him sharing with us what’s happening with him but in the form of lyrics and beats.

COVID-19 Crisis – Menaye Donkor Muntari, CEO of Sincerely Gh. Ltd. Donates 2000 Sanitary Pads To Vulnerable Women

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sincerely Ghana Limited, producers and marketers of Sincerely Sanitary Pads, Mrs. Menaye Donkor Muntari has donated 2000 pieces of ‘Sincerely by Menaye’ sanitary pads to vulnerable women in the country, particularly female head-porters, popularly known as kayayei.

The gesture, according to Mrs Muntari, was in response to the national call to individuals and organizations to support the vulnerable in society to withstand the social crisis engendered by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donation was made through the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection at a short ceremony at the warehouse of Sincerely Ghana Limited, East Legon, Accra, on Saturday.

Miss Universe Ghana 2017, Ruth Quarshie, on behalf of Mrs. Muntari, presented the items to the sector Minister, Mrs. Cynthia Morrison.

In a brief remark from Mrs. Muntari delivered by Ms Quarshie, she said she believed in women empowerment, adding that their sanitation was also very important to her.

Mrs Muntari, who is Miss Universe Ghana 2004 and also the current National Director of Miss Universe Ghana said, “The 2000 sanitary pads are to empower the vulnerable women and make them feel confident about themselves in these times of crisis”.

She pointed out that her ‘Sincerely by Menaye’ feminine hygiene brand was established to create quality sanitary pads complemented by sincere menstrual health and hygiene education throughout Ghana.

“I felt the need to support kayayei by providing them with my top quality sanitary pads because I’ve always been a firm believer in giving back to society”.
“Especially now that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought about so much hardship, it is important to not only be kind to ourselves but also to others,” she said.
The Minister of Gender Minister, Mrs. Morrison said it was amazing to see young ladies like Menaye Donkor Muntari doing things that indicated that they were thinking about the vulnerable in society.

“Menaye called me with passion and I could see that she sincerely wanted to help. The 2000 sanitary pads will go a long way to help the beneficiaries,” she emphasized.
The Minister thanked the management and staff of Sincerely Ghana Limited for the kind gesture and pointed out that this is the time for individuals and organisations to give to the needy because if the donations come at a later time the expected positive effects may not be felt so much.

Known by many in private life as Nana Kweku Okyere Duah, and in Showbiz circles as TiC, one of Ghana best musical exports has released much awaited video for his inspirational song, “Pray”.

The song which urges people to go on their knees and pray in times of adversities featured Nero X.

In the video which was directed by Steven Films, a mother is seen praying for his son, before departing from home, symbolising the pivotal prayer role mothers play in the life of their children.

This prayer then leads to open doors and trouble- free day in the life of the son.

TiC is through this inspirational song encouraging the world to go on their knees in this difficult times, with the believe that the ever listening Jehovah God will answer the request

Founder and head pastor for Brighter House Chapel, Prophet Kingsley Okwaah Mensah has started a project of feeding and supporting thousands of people on the street during this Covid-19 pandemic.

In an interview with the prophet, Kingsley popularly known as Prophet Father King revealed his intentions and plans of supporting t12,000 people to survive this pandemic

According to the Prophet, he has plans of distributing over 6000 hand sanitizers, face masks and other protective items to those on the street who can’t get hold of these things to stay alive.

Not ending there, he will be feeding over 6000 people on the street, especially to those who can’t afford their three square daily meals

So far so good, Prophet Father King has visited series of street homes to deliver foods, products and Covid-19 protective items. He has donated to hospitals, transport workers, orphanage, etc in Madina, Mallam, Dansoman, Sowutoum, Ablekuma, Kasoa, to mention but few.

Asked about his view on the lock down and how many think it’s affecting some churches, Prophet Father King revealed he doesn’t feel affected in any negative way, he just misses the congregation and how they worship together but for everyone to stay safe, let’s abide by the presidents command and social distance until this pandemic is over

He will be funding this Feed The Street project with over 400,000 Ghana Cedis, and even after the pandemic is over, Prophet Father King will still be giving to the needy

“This song draws from the struggles I’ve had to endure throughout my ascent as a musician; working hard despite tribulation, and knowing that one day, a breakthrough would crown my efforts. It’s a celebration of my transition from penury to landing my record deal.
He adds that the number is also “a cautionary tale on how to treat people regardless of their current situation, as their story could change at any moment.”
Heralding a yet-to-be-released 2020 EP, the joint arrives April 3, under Twist Entertainment Legacy, where Afro currently calls home.
Known to his mother as David Kweku Appiah-Kubi, Kweku Afro, who also resonds to the alias “Maestro” is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, producer, and choreographer. Famed across the country’s live band circuit, he has shared stages with some of the country’s preeminent names, and has enjoyed musical partnerships with the likes of Darkovibes, FRA, Adina, and a host of others.
“Nothing to Something” comes off the heels of other well-received submissions as “Monalisa,” and “Party Papa.” It arrives with a music video produce by TwistedEye production and directed by Mr Akrong. Kweku Afro is set to take over the music space in Africa, starting from Ghana.
