The inaugural edition of Street Jamboree in Juapong surpassed all expectations, attracting thousands of music and entertainment enthusiasts over the weekend. Organized by Champs Hub with production by Top Ravers, the event held on July 1st witnessed an overwhelming response from the public.

The day began with a Health Walk, which set the tone for an exhilarating experience. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the meticulous planning and arrangements leading up to the main event. Fredrick Kofi Deladem Dro, popularly known as Dross, the Deputy Head of Production, emphasized the team’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all attendees, considering it was the inaugural edition of Street Jamboree.

Regarding security, Stanley Agbodeka, the Chief Executive Officer of Champs Hub responsible for Operations and Protocol Management, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Ghana Police Service, the Military, and various special units, including Champs Intelligence, for their outstanding work in maintaining a secure environment.

The night of July 1st witnessed a historic gathering, as thousands of people filled the streets to unwind, dance, and be part of an incredible experience that had never before been witnessed in Juapong. Attendees expressed their utmost satisfaction with the event’s organization and eagerly urged the organizers to repeat it in the future.

The night of July 1st featured remarkable and unexpected performances by Keeny Ice, Abbi Ima, Bryt Gee, Afro khelly, Ice Phlame, Rizzlah Stylah, and SiQnal Music, which enthralled the audience. Renowned DJs, including the award-winning DJ Stephen and DJ Sticker, kept the energy levels high throughout the night. The event also featured talented hypemen and MCs such as Mcee Flexal, Hypeman Darren, Swizz carter, Moses Blay, and SK Mcee, who is also the founder of the Volta DJ Awards. He took the opportunity to announce that this year’s DJ of the Year category would be renamed “Champs DJ of the Year” in honor of the remarkable contributions made by Champs Hub as a culture creator.
