“Stonebwoy used to come to me when he started dancehall music. Therefore, he will continue to be my small boy in terms of dancehall genre”, Shatta Wale stated.

“Kaakie is my daughter and there will be a limit to things I can do with Kaakie so I will choose Ebony,” Samini told Pulse.com.gh adding that “She’s splendid.”
He further revealed that Ebony’s hit single “Poison” first featured him but a different verse was released.
“I will tell you a secret about her ‘Poison’ track. We actually did the first ‘Poison’ featuring me before the one featuring Gatdoe. We recorded with Brainy Beatz but the one that came out was a kind of remix with a different rapper.”
“So our version is at home on my computer and I might release it. It sounds good to me. I said a lot of naughty things on it,” he added.

‘Bronya’ Not To Promote Alcoholism And ‘Wee’ Smoking – Wutah

Ghanaian music group, Wutah has dismissed claims that their new banger ‘Bronya‘ encourages smoking of indian hemp, popularly known as ‘wee’ and addiction to the consumption of alcoholic drink among the youth.
Check Out : Yawavi Yawa – Nana Give Me (Feat. Zeal) (Produced by Johhny)
Speaking to Ike De-Unpredictable on Abusua FM in Ku masi, Wutah, known in real life as Daniel Morris and Frank Osei with stage names as Afriyie and Kobby, said their song only seeks to depict how the youth celebrate in exuberance.
“BRONYA IS NOT TO PROMOTE WEE SMOKING AND ALCOHOLISM AS IT’S BEING SAID. WE ARE TELLING THE LIFESTYLE OF GHANAIAN YOUTH DURING CELEBRATIONS,” WUTAH SAID.
Wutah angered and disappointed their supporters with news of break up some years back. The duo blamed each other for their separation over greed, pride and envy.
They are now back after 7 years of going their seperate ways. According to Wutah, performing together has made them more successful than going solo.
Wutah, which means fire in Hausa, came into the limelight when they placed second to Praye during the maiden edition of the Nescafe Africa Revelation music competition in Accra in 2004.
Their debut album, ‘Anamontuo’, with songs like ‘Adonko’, ‘Gossie Gander’ and ‘Big Dreams’ earned them eleven Ghana Music Award nominations including the ‘Most Popular Song of the Year’, ‘Album of the Year’, and ‘Artiste of the Year’.
After chalking up some successes, they went their separate ways in 2009 due to rumoured bickering between them.

OM Studios Not In Debt

OM Studios debunks a publication made by Ghanacelebrities.com of its shut down and closure to business.
A story published on August 3, 2017 on Chris Vincent’s owned website stated, the Accra based audio-visual media Production Company, OM Studios has been shut down and seized operations as a result of tax evasion.
Check Out : Patoranking – This Kind Love (Feat. Wizkid) (Official Video)
Reacting to the publication which was headlined, ‘Abraham Ohene Djan’s OM Studio Shut down by Ghana Revenue Authority over Huge Tax Debt’,
The renowned, and one of the celebrated Video Director’s in Ghana and founder of OM Studios, Abraham Ohene Djan, took to his facebook page to rebate and explain the details of the issues. Expressing his displeasure and dissatisfaction about the growing worry posed by some bloggers via the internet, OM as he is popularly called had this to say;

“This is one of the problems with the internet and irresponsible blogging. It is true that we had a visit from the GRA over a 5-year audit of our business. To demand payment for outstanding VAT, and as usual carry the media with them to embarrass companies. We have not withheld payment to GRA, we only asked for our documents to be released as the law state after an audit is done, to be independently reviewed. The delay in the non-release of our documents to be independently audited and checked (which every company has a right to) is what has resulted in the delay and added interest to the amount and subcounty visit to our office. The situation is under control and all our other taxes including SNNIT and payee and corporate taxes are up to date.
All this was explained to Ghana Celebrities when the reporter called me, but he seemed more interested in traffic for his blog thus the publication of a sensational story. Which is fine I can’t blame him that how he pays is rent, but It would be better if as an industry we tried to build companies rather than try to destroy it. A little respect for a company that has contributed to the media industry in Ghana for over 20 years would have been considerate.
Ohene Djan, however assured all of OM Studios clients and the general public, the company still remains in business thus operational to provide top quality production contents of world class standards to serve the ever changing audio-visuals productions industry, not just in Ghana but across the continent and the world at large.
