After gracing the music industry with an awesome song Crazy for you, the two showed came together on this beautiful AfroBeats song which is a confession of love after a painful breakup where Strongman with his wittiness great lyricism narrates the story.

KelvynBoy revealed his vocal prowess again on Pilolo with a romantic tone singing his heart into the hearts of all overs.

Accra, March 12, 2020* – Some of Ghana’s leading acts will take to the stage on Saturday for the maiden 3Music Fan Fest.

The event will be held at the Accra Polo Grounds, and will feature over 30 mainstream and upcoming acts for a day’s fun-filled event driven strictly by their fans.

The 3Music Fan Fest is the official nominees jam for the 2020 edition of the 3Music Awards, and is happening as part of the scheme’s Power of 3 campaign for this year, which focuses on three stands: The Fans, The Music and Impact.

It is being held on the back of the highly successful 3Music Women’s Brunch, which brought together leading females in the creative arts industry.

Confirmed acts for Saturday are Kuame Eugene, KiDi, Dope Nation, Wendy Shay,
Kweku Smoke, Epixode, Jupitar, Sister Derby, Camidoh, Kurl Songx, and Yaw Berk.

Others include: Kelvyn Boy, MzVee, OV, Bosom P Yung, Lord Paper, Fameye, Dada Hafco, Mr Drew, Krymi, Offei, Raph Enzee, Larusso, Kimilist, Enam, Mista Myles, Sitso, Kyei Nwom, Queen Ayorkor, and Sorakiss among a tall list.

The organizers, 3Media Networks say the Fan Fest is to offer an avenue for nominees to engage directly with their fans through MUSIC, FOOD, and ARTS.

There will be autograph signing sessions, souvenir merchandise, and a games arcade stocking the best games as well as carefully-selected on-ground activities. Patrons will also take part in competitions for prize mouthwatering rewards from sponsors.

Life as an upcoming musician is very tough, breaking through isn’t smooth sailing. Every up and coming act has been discriminated one way or the other. It is very sad when these things happen because it seems like the only ones given the maximum respect as entertainers are those who have broken into the lime light of the industry.

This unfortunate scenario has happened to many major artistes including Opanka who had his share few months ago and the earlier it’s brought to book the better for the industry.

Falling victim to discrimination within the industry is Somanya based artiste Sinami. The young singer was puzzled by the action of the MC at the Bryt Tv Lowki Jersey party, a show he was billed to perform. According to the singer he was embarrassed by one of the MCs after being on stage for less than a minute.

The confused artiste didn’t understand why the mic would be taken away from him when he was called on stage to perform but was only up there for less than a minute. He is asking the organizers to explain why he suffered such humiliation.

In a video posted by the singer, he said, “First of all I would like to say a big thank you to Bryt Tv for the opportunity given to me to perform at the Lowki Jersey Party, that was on 29th February. That night didn’t go well for me, because I got embarrassed big time by one of the MCs. I was called on stage and in less than a minute this guy came to take the mic from me in an unceremonial way. I don’t know why that discrimination happened, maybe it is because I am an up and coming artiste or it is because I am from Somanya; a place that can’t boast of an A-list artiste.”

The song titled Backstabber talks about the fake life of people as she details how her gradual rise in the industry is making people ‘bleed’.
In the song, Fantana draws inspiration from the 90s BadGyal as she pays homage to the late Ebony Reigns.
Fresh off his street anthem Killy Killy, Larruso delivered a dope verse which compliments the topic.
Backstabber was produced by the ‘most wanted’ Mix Masta Garzy.
One question I’m asking though after listening to Backstabber is Who is Queen ‘Backstabber.’

Reigning Western Music Award Hiphop Artiste, Casta Troy, backs up colleague rapper, Nemesis Loso to win this year’s 3Music Award Next Rated Artiste in Ghana.

Nemesis Loso, the ” Yɛ wɔ town ” hitmaker was the last on the bill to perform at The Trojan Concert over the weekend. He put up a great performance which sent the crowd bonkers. He served the crowd with songs from his magnificent Silent Killer album which kept them on their feet till midnight.

Casta, the reigning Western Music Awards Hiphop Artiste of the Year joined him on stage to perform their hit song ‘Oh Lord’. In a congratulatory speech, he asked the crowd to vote massively to ensure Nemesis Loso comes home with the award.

The PM hosted event, saw Dj Paa Kwesi aka Africa’s Coolest Dj treating patrons to some great danceable songs when there were no performances. The concert had other award winning musician such as Corp Sayvee, Kobby Major and other radio and TV personalities like Jm Ceasar, Roselyn Djan among others seated to enjoy till the end of the show.

Stellar Lodge, Champs Sports bar, Pizza Hut and Anafobisi Clothing were the main sponsors for the event.

It was an exciting event as reigning Western Music Awards Hip Hop Artiste of the Year, Casta Troy and other musicians thrilled patrons of his first-ever, TROJAN CONCERT at the Takoradi Library’s Amphitheater .

Patrons where left wanting for more as all the artistes who performed expertly gave their best during the concert.

The Trojan Concert had over 10 performances from other musicians including Nemisis Loso, Weaporn, The Township, Reskew, Bobo Dada Bee, Ayma, Janaya X, Aya Ramzy B and many others.

Casta Troy started the event with his interlude, ‘Trojans’ and followed it with a rock and roll kinda beat with great drum percussion and guitars which saw everyone clapping. He performed 5 songs and left the stage for Nate A-Eshun who gave patrons some soothing performance. Ayma followed Nate A-Eshun and she really provided one of her best performances as she performed 3 of her hit songs.

Abi.Deen also showed why he is a force to reckon with, as he took to the stage to give patrons what they really expected him to do. Abi.deen invited Casta Troy on stage to perform for the first time together their 2019 recorded song, California Dreams.

Aside from these performances, Casta Troy also showed why he is an award-winning artiste as he performed all his songs on his MIND OF PICASSO II album.

Weaporn also moved the crowed to his hits songs same way The Township had great applause from the audience during his 10 minutes performance.

The ‘SILENT KILLER’ Nemisis Loso’s performance was expertly delivered as patrons kept hailing his performance.

Mid way through Casta Troy’s performances, he invited Reskew, AJ Sunset, Janaya X, Bobo Dada Bee and Phynex to share the stage with him. He also brought the gospel in him as he gave his own rendition of Pastor Joe Bechem’s, ‘Ao Yesu’.

Considering the energy put in by these talented musicians, the program was nothing but success.

The musician who is signed into Hybrid Rekords tapped singer Fameye for the song. Ankonam expresses and touches on issues of life mainly relating to money. The video is directed by Mercia Agyei and walks viewers through phases of the message the two musicians were sharing, indicating that money attracts loyalty.

Lifeline protégée, Dede Supa is wrapping up preparations towards the release of official music video for her song, ‘Over’ (Listen on Youtube:

The song released in December 2019 touches on “matters of the heart” and excessive domestic abuse against female partners in relationship.

‘Over’ by Dede Supa is already receiving more positive reviews on social media and radio because even though violence against women in relationship is common, many hardly bring it to the discussion table.

Moni dedicates debut EP ‘Jeanne D’arc’ to his late sister

Singer Moni has released an amazing body of work, an Extended Play dedicated to the memory of his late sister.

EP called ‘Jeanne D’arc pays homage to his deceased Sister (R.I.P) The project has been released under independent record label D.O records, with singles ‘More money’ and ‘Jollof’ making waves on all digital music platforms.

Moni has been engaging in music all his life, from playing instruments such as the piano, guitar, drum set. Growing up as a kid, he performed songs he heard in his household. His father has a big influence on his music career as he used to be a musician and was a talent manager to the great Kojo Antwi once upon a time. Moni always made music regardless growing up and grew interest in it but kept it close to heart never sharing past his immediate family and group of friends. His family and friends became his main motivators as well as his critics.

In 2016 Moni dropped “My Jorley” an Afro pop song he produced, which perfectly suited the sound at the time (403.4k plays on soundcloud till date).
Although the song was well received amongst younger listeners and gained traction by radio spins and digital playlists, Moni chose to shift his focus more towards production in order to further develop himself as a music producer.

During this time he stayed relevant by producing and featuring on songs by talented acts such as ace producer and music artist Gafacci , musicians Joey B, Kweku Stylin , Kobla Jnr and others.
