Bisa Kdei, who is one of the last standing highlife musicians in Ghana, has churned out some amazing hit songs in the past, including “Brother,” “Asew”, “Mansa”, among others.
Ghanaian Africana superstar, Sherifa Gunu, was the toast of fans who gathered at the National Theatre for the maiden edition of Zongofest, a show to honor distinguished Zongo personalities and also discover young talents.
Sherifa Gunu performed a live band music show at the Golden Tulip hotel in Accra during the launch of Ghana’s premium networking event known as the ‘Corporate Wednesday’, a show that seeks to bring all business stakeholders together for networking among themselves.

Talented Ghanaian disc jockey and event promoter DJ Lord received a noteworthy honor at the 2022 Ghana DJ Awards in a category that perfectly suited him. Prior to being named the recipient of the award, he was nominated for “Event DJ of the Year,” “Mixtape of the Year,” and “Mobile DJ of the Year.”
The various categories were fiercely contested by other well-known Ghanaian DJs who had previously won them. However, DJ Lord was the front-runner to win the “Mixtape Of The Year” title. The Ghana DJ Awards committee board chose His ‘Gospel Hour’ DJ mix, a mixtape with a gospel theme, as a mixtape that qualified for the competition. The mixtape, which has nearly 700,000 streams on Audiomack, won DJ Lord the ‘Mixtape Of The Year award.
The award serves as evidence of the impact his mixtapes have had on music listeners and fans, who have hailed him as the “King Of Mixtapes.” Mixtapes by DJ Lord are expertly prepared to appeal to a wide range of listeners. The artful young DJ staved off competition from other female DJs to deservedly annex the coveted title of “Female DJ of the Year” at the Ghana DJ Awards 2022 ceremony held at the Silver Star Towers in Accra last Saturday.
Gal Dem DJ performed at several of the most prestigious events over the course of the year under consideration. She was on the bill of performers at Stonebwoy’s “Ashaiman to the World Concert”, Ghana DJ Awards Pub Fest, Turn On Deck, Tunnel Lounge’s Battle of the DJs (The Ladies Affair), Team AVO’s “All White Party”, Ghana DJ Awards Beach Party, among others.

One of Ghana’s best exports in gospel music, Empress Gifty, will on November 13, storm Hallelujah Dubai 2022.

#RoadToAfrochellla was birthed out a creative idea to bridge the cultural gap between South Africa and Ghana; to have a taste of both cultures and the people of South Africa get to experience Afrochella on their own turf. Prior to the album release scheduled to be released on 4th of November 2022, Green Baker officially releases this self-produced single from his album. The song which is also titled, ‘Mr Right’ is the lead single of the album.
‘Mr Right’ is a revolutionary song that tackles the political brouhaha in the African continent.

Ghana’s trending musician and songwriter Derrick Sarfo Kantanka popularly known as Amerado has finally released his much anticipated G.I.N.A album.
This happens to be his debut album.
Sound engineers TwoBars, Tubhani Muzik, IzJoe Beatz, Apya, Major Music, Cyrus Jaybel, and ItzCJMadeit assisted in recording the album’s 10 tracks.
